ictQATAR's Cyber Security program (CS) provides a wide range of training to its constituency. The objective is to train and certify  focused groups of information security professionals to maintain information security within Qatar’s most critical organizations. The offered training targets technical audience and is bilingual (Arabic & English) whenever possible. In most of the cases, even if the curriculum is not bilingual, a bilingual technical trainer is present to facilitate native speakers’ engagement in the training. The training offered varies from short workshops to complete training tracks. All trainees receive attendance certificates and where applicable are qualified to sit for international examinations that lead to industry recognized certification. Training programs are either in-house developed or certified training.
Furthermore, sector related training will be offered to train professionals working within specific critical sectors like energy, finance and government sectors. Other non-technical workshops are offered to provide information security fundamentals to various groups of technology consumers.

The GCED builds on the security skills measured by the GSEC. It assesses more advanced, technical skills that are needed to defend the enterprise environment and protect an organization as a whole. 
Media Security Essentials Workshop
This course will provide the participants with basic knowledge and skills needed to address cyber safety & security related issues.
Educators Security Essentials Workshop
This course will provide the participants with basic knowledge and skills needed to address cyber safety & security related issues in schools
Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) Workshop
This workshop provides the participants with basic knowledge about DDoS and how they work. The hands-on work represents 80% of the delivery where attendees are guided through the steps of creating a botnet and attacking various targets using different DDoS methods. At the end attendees are introduced to techniques to mitigate DDoS attacks. Attendees will work with a set of 40 virtual machines to perform the DDoS exercise.
Botnet Workshop
This workshop provides the participants with basic knowledge about botnets and how they work. The hands-on work represents 80% of the delivery where attendees are guided through the steps to manipulate botnet source code, create botnet infrastructure and infect bots. At the end attendees are introduced to the fundamentals of botnet investigations and shutdown. Each attendee will receive a set of virtual machines to perform the full cycle of creation, operation, investigation and take-down of the botnet.
