Last week, following the trail blazed by their colleagues in Malomatia, Q-CERT moved to offices in the Al-Nasr building, which eventually will house all of ictQATAR's programs. Everyone involved agreed that the move went very smoothlyby 8:30 Sunday morning, people had desks and computers, and the network was up and running.
"The new offices are very nice," said Fadia Jamil, a Q-CERT employee. "The acoustics are good, there is more space, and I love the view of the Gulf."
"Being on the Corniche has a lot of advantages," said David Mundie, manager of outreach and training at Q-CERT. "It's much easier for our constituents to come visit us, and putting on workshops will be much simpler and cheaper now that we have our own training facilities."
One unanticipated side effect of the move is that Q-CERT staff members now have a whole new set of restaurants to explore for lunch!
