What is Cyber Bullying?

Cyber bullying is any intentional, aggressive behavior in which a person uses an electronic medium to demean, embarrass, harass, intimidate, or threaten others.

To understand the impact of cyber bullying, in 2005, researchers Sameer Hinduja, PhD and Justin Patchin, PhD conducted a survey in the U.S. of approximately 1,500 adolescents who used the internet, asking them about their experiences with cyber bullying. The results were shocking:
