In this week's episode, all the hard work from the previous weeks pays off, and we finally go to court. A presentation by R. Azrina R. Othman, from Cybersecurity Malaysia, coaches the reader in the basics of preparing to give expert testimony in a court of law. Ms. Azrina calls expert witness testimony the "end destination of a digital forensics analyst" and points out that it is a "life and death" moment—if the testimony is accepted, you're the hero, but if not, your organization's reputation is tarnished, all the hard work that preceded the testimony is wasted, and, in the extreme case, your career as a digital forensic analyst may be brought to a sudden end.
